Does the 8 hour private tour include Linderhof Palace?

Both options provide hotel collection and a private driver, while the interior visits follow the palaces' guided tour arrangements.

   Marienbrücke has a planned 15 minute stop, subject to access. The bridge can close with snow or ice on the Marienbrücke page. Your castle entry time takes priority.

2. Neuschwanstein Castle 180 min

   Neuschwanstein Castle has a planned 180 minute stop in both options. The interior tour lasts about 30 minutes on the castle's opening hours page. The remaining time covers the approach and the grounds.

3. Lechfall 10 min

   Lechfall is a 10 minute stop on the longer route. On the 8 hour option, Lechfall is a possible alternative to Ettal Abbey. The driver settles the flexible route with you.

4. Füssen 60 min

   Füssen has a planned 60 minute break on the 10 hour route. The 8 hour option offers the town as one possible lunch stop. Meals are extra.

5. Plansee 30 min

   Plansee is a 30 minute stop on the 10 hour route with the palace visit. The drive follows the lake with time for photographs. Plansee is outside the shorter option's route.

6. Linderhof Palace 60 min

   Linderhof Palace has a planned 60 minute stop on the 10 hour option only. Linderhof's opening hours page gives about 25 minutes for the guided palace tour. The palace ticket is included.

7. Oberammergau 15 min

   Oberammergau has a planned 15 minute stop on the longer route. The 8 hour option offers Oberammergau as one possible break after the castle. Your driver agrees the day's stops with you.

8. Ettal Abbey 10 min

   Ettal Abbey has a planned 10 minute stop on the longer route. On the 8 hour route, Ettal Abbey is an alternative to Lechfall. The choice fits around your castle visit.

Know before you go

• Neuschwanstein Castle tours admit up to 35 people on the Ticket Center's FAQ. Private transport does not reserve the castle rooms for your group. Be in the courtyard before your timed tour. The road tour requires moderate fitness.
• Walking from the Ticket Center Hohenschwangau to Neuschwanstein Castle takes 30 to 40 minutes on the castle's directions page. The Ticket Center's transport page gives €3.50 uphill or €5 return for the shuttle bus. The bus from P4 takes about 15 minutes, then leaves 15 minutes downhill on foot to the castle.
• The horse carriage to Neuschwanstein Castle normally costs €8 uphill or €4 downhill. The ride from Hotel Müller takes about 20 minutes, followed by 10 to 15 minutes uphill on foot to the castle. Your tour includes castle transport by shuttle bus or horse carriage. Neither service has a fixed timetable or accepts reservations.
• Regular backpacks and handbags are allowed inside Neuschwanstein Castle; bulky luggage and hiking backpacks are excluded. Strollers stay in the courtyard storage room under the Ticket Center's family page rules. The castle's visitor information page prohibits photography and filming inside the castle.
• Children under 18 need their ages entered with your booking, and infant seats are available. The Ticket Center's accessibility page requires advance arrangements for lift access with severe mobility impairment. Tell Munich Private Tours before booking if you need the lift.
• Cancellation gives a full refund at least 24 hours before departure. Snow or ice can stop the shuttle bus in winter. The private minivan cannot take you to the castle gate.
