Neuschwanstein Castle admission time
Neuschwanstein Castle visits last about 30 minutes at a fixed admission time on the castle's opening hours page. Castle staff conduct the interior visits, with audio guides on designated tours. Private guiding outside the castle still leads to a shared interior tour.
The official ticket page asks you to reach Hohenschwangau 1.5 to 2 hours before the admission time on your castle ticket. Be in the castle courtyard before the time on your ticket. Late arrivals cannot join the tour. Count back: your castle time, the uphill route with its queue, then the meeting with your guide.
