1. Neuschwanstein Castle 180 min

   Neuschwanstein Castle has a 180 minute stop, with admission included. The shuttle bus to the bridge is included when running and the bridge is open. Your castle entry takes place with a group.

2. Pilgrimage Church of Wies 30 min

   The Pilgrimage Church of Wies has 30 minutes between the castle visit and Oberammergau. Your driver covers the transfer as part of the private day.

3. Oberammergau 90 min

   Oberammergau has 90 minutes for lunch or shopping before Linderhof Palace. You choose where to spend your free time. Food and drinks are at your own expense.

4. Linderhof Palace 120 min

   Linderhof Palace has 120 minutes, with your palace admission included. Linderhof's opening hours page gives about 25 minutes for the palace tour. The Venus Grotto is closed in winter, and the Moorish Kiosk is under renovation.

Cancellation policy

No free cancellation: all sales are final. Bookings made more than 2 days ahead are confirmed instantly; later bookings are confirmed by the operator. The tour can be cancelled for poor weather.

Know before you go

• The official ticket page places village arrival 1.5 to 2 hours before your Neuschwanstein Castle admission. Be in the courtyard before your ticket time. Late arrivals cannot join the tour.
• The castle's directions page gives 30 to 40 minutes on foot from the Ticket Center Hohenschwangau to Neuschwanstein Castle. Walking is free. The horse carriage takes about 20 minutes, with another 10 to 15 minutes uphill on foot.
• The Ticket Center's transport page gives shuttle bus fares of €3.50 up or €5 return, and horse carriage fares of €8 up or €4 down. The shuttle bus takes about 15 minutes, followed by 15 minutes down a steep path. Both services run without a timetable or reservations.
• The Ticket Center's FAQ allows regular size backpacks and handbags inside Neuschwanstein Castle, excluding bulky luggage. The Ticket Center's family page provides for prams in courtyard storage. The castle's visitor information page prohibits photography inside the castle.
• The private tour requires moderate fitness and includes walking on the hill. Infant seats are available. Your booking needs at least 2 adults, with no more than 7 guests in total.
• Snow or ice stops the shuttle bus; the Marienbrücke page also warns of winter bridge closures. Your castle tour can continue when the bridge is closed. The walking route still reaches the castle.
