   Neuschwanstein Castle has 180 minutes within the 3.5 hour private tour. The castle's opening hours page gives about 30 minutes for the guided visit inside. Your private guide spends time with you before and after the interior tour.

No free cancellation: all sales are final. The operator confirms the booking after you book. The tour can be cancelled for poor weather.

Know before you go

• The official ticket page asks you to reach Hohenschwangau 1.5 to 2 hours before castle admission. Be in the courtyard before your ticket time. Late arrivals cannot join the tour.
• The castle's directions page gives 30 to 40 minutes uphill from the Ticket Center Hohenschwangau to Neuschwanstein Castle. Walking is free. The horse carriage ride takes about 20 minutes, followed by 10 to 15 minutes uphill on foot.
• The Ticket Center's transport page gives public fares of €3.50 up or €5 return by shuttle bus, and €8 up or €4 down by horse carriage. The shuttle bus takes about 15 minutes, followed by 15 minutes down a steep path. Both services run without a timetable or reservations.

• Moderate fitness is required; participants must manage uphill and downhill walking as well as stairs. Children need an adult with them. Cancelling your booking brings no refund. Wear shoes suited to the hill.
